SENIOR MEMBRANE SCIENTIST
We’re looking for an exceptional technical expert with experience in the development of novel membranes including design, synthesis, fabrication, and scale up. You'll lead the membrane prototyping effort in support of the development of our high efficiency AC technology.

What You’ll Do
-
Develop new and improved reverse osmosis membranes suitable for high concentration desiccant solutions in an R&D setting

Test and evaluate membrane performance in custom modules to inform prototype and commercial product design

Establish our prototype and pilot membrane manufacturing processes considering the needs for eventual mass production

Troubleshoot fabrication and implement improvements

What You’ll Bring

A master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field of study (PhD preferred but not required)

Ability to work onsite at Greentown Labs, Somerville, MA 3-5 days per week

A minimum of 5 years of experience in membrane fabrication or membrane systems

Expertise in membrane synthesis and performance evaluations

A strong technical understanding of hollow fiber membranes employed in the industrial scale for separations, particularly liquid separations

You take initiative and can work well independently and in small teams

Must be eligible to work in the United States on a full-time basis
